IMPLEMENTO TERAPÉUTICO PARA PERSONAS CON ARTRITIS REUMATOIDE

Abstract

People suffering from rheumatoid arthritis suffer complications in their physical therapy process because in general the therapy centers have equipment for specialized treatments like laser, ultrasound, among others. However, in terms of movement therapies, there is no specific equipment, so we suggest movements that the patient must perform at home without supervision of a trained professional, the presented tool aims to become a valuable alternative for arm therapy that allows ease of use when attached directly to the arm, portability through the use of light materials that provide sufficient strength, adaptability by means of extension mechanisms adjustable to the required dimensions and safety in the exercise by means of limitations of movements and adequate resistance adjustment to the condition.
